This is a great hotel (especially for the budget-minded) except for the noise. Make sure you request a room that is not near the front desk or near the breakfast area. We had the room directly across from the front lobby and we had a hard time sleeping due to the noise, and the bathroom was way too small for a couple of very tall Americans. However, our adult children had rooms at the Target Hotel upstairs (they must be partner hotels or something), and their room was lovely, quiet, and very nicely decorated with a huge bathroom. There were lots of positives about this hotel, such as a 5 minute walk to the train station, 1 minute to the metro, where you can catch the subway to the Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, Vatican, etc. The building is charming, and the staff is friendly (especially Bruno!!) The breakfasts were good, and we especially loved dining on their screened-in porch with heaters and an authentic-looking Italian water feature....delightful! I would highly recommend this hotel, just be sure to request a quiet room.
