“Perfect for Rome!”

We found a room at this hotel (first the Bella Suites, run by the Adler Hotel one floor down) at last minute after arriving in Rome. We were lucky enough to secure 4 nights there and because we showed them the book that recommended them, we received a small discount for a great room. The room in the Bella Suites was fantastic for Rome. The value was great and the location was perfect. Central to everything, just a few blocks to the train station and connections to both Roman metro lines. (They only have two, kind of in a cross formation -- hmmm..) The area surrounding is very Roman and there are a lot of great restaurants all around. The food in that area is fantastic and abundant. Breakfast is included in the stay and it was always very good -- a selection of pastries, cheese and sweets with fruit and of course, cappuccino. The staff were all friendly, with a special note to Bruno, who served the best cappuccino in the world, and the fellow that checked us in initially. These gentlemen were among the friendliest and most courteous Italians in Italy, I'm quite sure.

We did decide to stay in Rome another night and they found us a small room at a discounted price for one more night. It was simple, but functional. If anything, try to stay in the Bella Suites, but either is a good value in Rome.

What a fabulous little hotel. Terrific location. The staff of Alessandro, Micheangelo and Bruno were terrific. The buiding is older but very well run, clean and good size bathrooms. We stayed here on the first leg of the trip and then on the return. The staff were so helpful with maps, Metro, shopping, dining, airport connections etc. We were a group of 8 noisy Americans and we felt completely at home and relaxed here. One of them even waited for the shuttle with one of us outside at 4 in the morning. Our shuttle to the airport arrived early and they hopped to it and helped us be checked out in record time. We are so sorry we had to leave without proper goodbyes. I have already recommended this hotel to several of my friends.

“Great experience”

Very central location - 7 minutes walk from Termini or 2 minutes walk from Repubblica station. Via Modena where the hotel is located is very quiet and small. It might be a bit tricky to find it, so the easiest way to reach the hotel is to take metro from Termini to Repubblica (1 stop) - walking with luggage in the crowded area around Termini is not nice. Exit the Repubblica station choosing exit to Via Nazionale. As you exit turn rigth to Via Nazionale, go along the street and turn right to the first street - it is Via Torino. Then take the first rigth to the left, it is via Moden - and the hotel is just around 15 m from that point on Via Modena.
The hotel staff makes you feel at home, everybody is very smiling and helpful. Single room is small but very clean and has all the necessary staff - TV, fridge, safety box, hairdryer. The bathroom is spotless. Breakfast is rather basic but enough to start the day.
The hotel also provides free Internet access.
I believe for Rome which is quite expensive the hotel is adequately priced.

“Wonderful stay”

We had a great stay with Hotel Adler. The hotels is in a great location, close to Termini & Repubblica train stations. It's surrounded by plenty of restaurants and pizzerias. The rooms are pretty quiet; we didn't hear much street noise. We stayed in two different rooms, and both were nice and always kept clean. The bathrooms are small, but clean. Breakfast was always delicious. Alessandro was very helpful, he even helped us with our travels to L'Aquila, which he had to do some research & make phone calls. We plan to stay in Hotel Adler again.

“Excellent value, location and friendly service.”

When Alessandro signs "your personal concierge in Rome" in his emails he really does mean it. Not only is this father and son run business very efficiently run in a low key way, they also go out of their way in assisting all sorts of tourist needs (i.e., arranging reasonably priced shuttle service to ports/airports, booking train tickets, assisting in short term luggage storage). Bruno also does a great job making you feel very welcome.
The bathrooms though small are very clean, the beds are clean, very good continental breakfast. Totally fits the needs of the traveller who values location, cleanliness and great service without necessarily paying an arm and a leg for it.

Would definitely go back in a heartbeat.
