This was a nice little hotel close to the Roma Termini. We booked this hotel because of the other reviews we have read.

My wife and i stayed here from July 2 - July 6. It was a difficult hotel to find as it was hidden in an alley on Napoli street.

If you stay at the hotel more than 3 nights..you do not have to pay for wireless internet.

The hotel staff was nice and answered all questions we had. They suggested some places to eat and see.

The restaurant right next to the hotel Corona..is a great restaurant...we ate their our first night and were not disappointed.

The room was a little small but since it was just my wife and me...it was suitable. The shower was very small...but i guess all European hotels are about this size.

The hotel was in a pretty good location. We walked to all the attractions. Be prepared to do a good amount of walking. The Roman coliseum and forum was about a 15 minute walk from the hotel. The vatican was about a 25 - 30 minute walk from the hotel. Every other attraction was within 30 minutes walking distance from the hotel.

The public transportation is very easy to use in Rome. There was a subway (Metro) stop near the hotel that could be used to get to many of the attractions.

The breakfast was average...but it did the job to kick start our morning everyday.

I would return to this hotel again.

Good service and breakfast , family operated ,well located near plaza de la republica for metro and bus.

A good budget priced hotel for Rome (where hotels seem to be expensive). Has a very good central location - convenient to Termini (principal railway station) for access to the metro rail system and buses and also handy to many sites of interest. The area seemed to be quite safe and there are many places to eat nearby. Reception operates 24 hrs per day and staff are friendly, helpful and speak English. Room sizes are quite modest but I understand this should be expected in Rome, particularly in this price category. Buffet breakfast is quite simple and not one of the hotels stronger points. Have realistic expectations re room size and you can have a good stay in this hotel.

We stayed at Corona for three nights from 12th-14th June , but would not recommend it to anyone . The hotel is located at a nice place, close to the central railway station and not too far from other places to see. But the praise ends here .
There was no room service , the owner is a cranky , very bad mannered fellow in his mid-50s . The always spoke very rudely and treated his guests and if he is doing and favor to them by letting uthem stay there . On our first night , the hotel put us in a very small corner room which was big enough for monkeys to stay in ; it was only after our persistent requests did they gave us another slightly bigger room . even in that room , the shower was too small for an average size person to use it without hitting walls on all sides.
They shut off the A/C in the middle of the night and when we inquired about the same in the morning , we were told that we should help them in saving electricity !!!, i can;t believe that someone would say that as an explanation to let the guests sleep in a room without proper cooling !!!! :( . The breakfast is strictly ok , not too much to eat anyways in what they provide .
This hotel is a very very average one , stay in this hotel if you are unable to find anything else .Only the location is its saving grace !! Would not recommend this hotel to anyone
