“Excellent in all respects”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 11 August 2010

We stayed here for one night after a two and a half week tour of Italy so I did not pay a great deal of attention to choosing a hotel. When we arrived we thought the rooms were absolutely lovely. The decor and comfort was to a very high standard and the value was excellent. It was also a good location. We were allowed to have our rooms early (we arrived around 12 lunchtime) too. We then accidentally left a digital camera behind. The hotel immediately located it, packed it all up for the courier and I had it back in England within 24 hours. I would highly recommend this hotel.

“Great value”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 August 2010

We arrived from an overnight flight and asked if we could check in early. Not only did the gentleman at the reception desk say 'yes,' but he gave us an upgrade, because our rooms were not ready. Instead of receiving 2 doubles, we were given 1 double and a suite with a queen in the bedroom and another queen in the living room, which was perfect because we were in fact a group of 3 and 1. Breakfast was also included, all for an amazingly low price.

There was free wi-fi. The signal was a bit weak, but we were pleased nonetheless. The location was so-so: close to some lovely high-end shops but little night-life. There is a bus which drops you off close to the hotel, but the bus runs infrequently in the evening. The better option is a subway stop. It's perhaps a 10-min. walk (tops).

“Great for runners and those whom prefer rooms with down comforters and air-conditioning.”

I was not initially satisfied with my room but the manager was more than willing to work things out with me. He allowed me and my wife to look at each of the available rooms and pick whichever one best suited our needs for our weeklong stay! The concierge was also extrememly knowledgeable and helpful with providing recommendations and directions. The breakfast was basic but very pleasant: espresso, cappuccino, fresh fruit, pastries, toast, deli meats, cheese, cereal. If you stay here you MUST MUST MUST got to the nearby Pizzeria Al Forno Della Soffitta and Gelateria I Caruso (hands down best quality, best taste, best prices, friendliest atmosphere)!!! We specifically chose this hotel for the down comforters, the air-conditioning, and its short distance to the Borghese Park (several great dirt running trails). We were extremely satisfied and, even though it's a sweaty 15 minute walk to city center, we'd still do it all over again. Maybe not a 5-rating for everyone, but it suited our needs better than expected. Ciao!

“Great place and would stay again.....”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 19 July 2010

The hotel is about 10 minute walk to the Spanish steps and about 7 minutes to the closest metro station. It is well positioned for the Trevi fountain, Pantheon, Pz Narvona and other major sights. Breakfast is a good selection of continental meats and strong coffee. The hotel staff and reception are very helpful and the rooms (maybe a little small) are of adequate size, clean and well maintained.

If in doubt, book it ...... I would stay here again.

“Perfect”

A splendid hotel in the heart fo Rome. Close to the Spanish Steps, Pantheon, Trevi fountain, Colosseum. A lovely short walk into the centre.
The room was a good size, air conditioned and available to set the temperature to the level you want. Good sized bathroom and great power shower.
Hotel staff all very helpful, polite welcoming and went out of their way to help. The roof terrace with bar offers amazing views over Rome.
I would recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Rome.
