Nice hotel, quiet, and nice junior suite. Near Coliseum and other amenities. Perhaps they can offer a free Wi-Fi. Bit expensive Restaurant Menu. Otherwise , perfect place to stay and highly recommended.

Have just returned home after four days in Rome. The stay at Kolbe hotel was almost perfect - excellent location, friendly staff and clean rooms. We especially enjoyed sitting outside in the garden under the beautiful orange trees sipping coffee, relaxing after a long day of walking all over Rome.
We were first given a quite dark room below the ground level, but when we asked for a new room, we were promtly given a room on the first floor. A much better choice for us as it had a little bit of view to the back garden.
The only thing we didn't enjoy was the quite hard madresses and the thin sheets on the beds. We are used to softer madrasses and duvets, but realize that this is not too common in southerns parts of Europe.
The location of the hotel was great, even though we had to walk for 15 minutes to find restaurants nearby. However, the dinner we ate at the hotel was tasty with good wine and comfortable surroundings.
We hope to return to this hotel and will recommend our friends to stay at the Kolbe hotel when in Rome.

I have to say that this Hotel is one of my favourite. I can only think that this is my Top 2.
We stay for 3 nights in one of the Junior Suites with an incredible space, jacuzzi, 2 flat TVs, very big and comfortable bed with an massive window. Very clean, all very organized and very helpful staff, they were very polite. They sure care about their guest. The breakfast was great with several options and very fresh fruits. Love the coffee Latte that you can prepare yourself as you like it. We had complementaries drinks one we checked in. Close to bus stops and 20mins walking to Coliseum, also if you don't mind walking, around 25mins to Via del Corso with loads of shops and restaurants. We had dinner in the Hotel and the Lasagne was beautiful

We loved this hotel and its location. It was a very good value for the six nights we stayed in Rome. However, the room we were assigned was on the road side and was VERY noisy. The road is a one-way street, but the cobblestones make every car sound like an eighteen-wheeler passing by! The management could not give us another room in a quieter location for the same rate that we had so we tolerated the noise. I will go back to this hotel because everything else about it is wonderful. However, next time I will insist on a quiet location! The staff is very nice and accomodating and speak English very well. The rooms were nicely furnished and very clean. The bar and reastaurant is very good. I highly recommend the Kolbe Hotel Rome.
