Everything nearby museums, restaurants, food &fruit stores, Artacha station to make daytrip to Toledo!!!!
The apartment is nice and clean. Kitchen is well equipped, even profi orange press, for preparing juice for breakfast. The doublebeds comfortable, however little narrow, if both are corpulent. Use of artificial light is necessary, cause dark, however one spends the day anyway outside. :DDD

We were offered an upgrade to these apartments when we tried to book Hostal Madrid. Overall, the apartment gave us everything we needed and placed us in a good location. We were right on Puerta del Sol, which was within walking distance of all the major sites. Our apartment was not spacious, but it was sufficient for two people and was decent by European standards of size. It gave us a bed with night stands, a table, a futon, a tv, and a kitchen with a clothes washer, microwave, stove top, sink, and plates. This helped us save money/eat more healthily while we were in Madrid as we had breakfast and dinner in our place. It also allowed us to do laundry and replenish our clothing supply although the site of our apartment once the drying rack was out was hilarious - very tight!

I found the room to be comfortable, and it was surprisingly quiet despite its central location. One bit of warning for larger individuals would be that the shower is very tight. My boyfriend is very thin, and I am of average size, and we both really struggled to fit in there, so if you are larger, you might want to consider booking elsewhere because it would be torturous for you! Nevertheless, we were able to get soap, shampoo, and toilet paper when we needed it, and there was a hair dryer there, too.

The staff were very friendly, kind, and helpful, but a few of them did not speak English. As a rule, my rough Spanish and hand gestures were enough to get the job done, so if you don't mind doing a bit of charades, you should be fine.

The only gripe I have about this place was that the wifi was pretty spotty. We did have wifi in our room, but it was slow and undependable at times, so if you are addicted to the internet or need to travel on business, this place might not work for you.

Overall, these apartments will give you everything you need, and they are a good choice for budget travelers or families. If you want frills or glamor, this establishment isn't for you, but for an affordable place to lay our head at night that will put you in the enter of the action, you can't go too wrong here.

Great Location near Metro Sol Subway and Square lots of shops and Restaurants .
i would take the hop on hop off bus tour to get to know the area
you can buy your pass in the Square or at the apt office . i found the staff very help full
nice terraces with great views .the only thing was that we did have mice in our apt
and the manager did not believe us so we had to kill one and dump it on her desk
but after that they took care of the Mice and all was well with my stay .
i would stay here again . you can take the subway to the airport and to and from all the train stations a great way to get around the city . oh one more thing exchange your money before you travel here the exchange rate is very high ....

Great location, recently remodeled, close to the action and yet, peacefull (4th floor with a terrace;awsome in summer time!).
This is our 2nd time, with our family.
They only clean once a week, but you can pay extra for more, and they give you fresh towels and paper towel at the reception, anytime. 24 hr.service and security.

Room tip: Rooms with a terrace are the best!

I must say this is one of the best accommodation you can find in Madrid. It's literally few steps from Puerta del Sol, that means the heart of the city. We did have the chance to stay in the superior apartment with the terraces on the rooftop, with a superb view on the city skyline. The apartment was made by two big main rooms, a kitchen, a big living room and two bathrooms, all furnished with style and simple elegance. The prices are quite low considering what they offer. There's free wifi naturally.
