We stayed two nights here, over a weekend (Saturday and Sunday night). Finding the hotel without difficulty, I temporarily parked outside. As I was checking in, I heard a van starting up and moving out from the free parking bay opposite. A frantic race ensued, which I just about won, giving free parking for the extent of our stay.
The hotel has been frequently, and fairly, rated. Rooms are reasonably sized, and the building is clean and modern, yet small enough to be personal and welcoming. It is on the riverside, so it is a steep (but short) climb to the city's main attractions. Breakfast was not included, but I understand it is sometimes offered as part of a promotion, so I suggest you check the hotel website before booking. Note there is free internet access at a computer that is easily missed between the staircase, the dining areas and the internal patio.
The hotel staff were extremely helpful in dealing with our few requests during our short stay, and appeared competent, professional and efficient.
There is a little noise from nearby building projects, but this was only apparent as we were leaving on the Monday. More intrusive was the sound of the local buses that terminate near the parking bay mentioned above. For some strange reason, drivers tend not to switch off their engines while parked; so for ten minutes every half hour there is a judder-judder-judder until the vehicle resumes its route.
