I was at the Brice for three nights on business. I booked it through Booking.com well ahead of the conference and got a good rate. Later on, I had to add an extra night and the rate was double for that night - turns out it was the weekend of the Cannes festival and the Monaco Grand Prix. Ah well.
The hotel building itself is pleasant - in a busy part of the new town but set back from the street and surrounded by trees, it gives a welcoming impression and is a 5 minute walk to the beach, a 10 minute walk to the train station and to the old town. The staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was varied.
The room itself was a mixed bag - I was lucky to get a very large room on the side of the building, although it looked over a couple of other rooms; many of the others were tiny and looked like they'd been larger rooms that had been sub-divided. It was clean, but badly equipped, tired and faded. Why have an empty minibar sitting there? The shower was good though, and the bed ok.
