An eclectic spot to spend some time in the Honfleur area. The harbor with tons of restaurants is only a few minutes stroll away. Close to all the revelry which surprisingly quiets down around 11:00 PM. Be sure to ask for a room on the lower levels if stairs are a challenge. We stayed on the third floor and our room looked out over the market place on Saturday morning. Can't sleep in with all the bustle of vendors setting up the displays. All in all, a wonderful experience. WIFI available in the lobby only. Breakfast was excellent but not included in the price of the room. Late evening aperitifs are available. Room was clean and had updated bathrooms. A good value.

Room tip: Ask for a room on a lower level if stairs are a problem.

If you are after peace and quiet and easy parking then this place isn't for you. The staff are very welcoming and friendly and the rooms are quirky. We had the breakfast for ease and found it plentiful and varied for a continental breakfast. We had a small room, which was very clean and newly decorated, overlooking the church and market square. The stairs are steep ( you are in a historical old french building!) but the views are brilliant. As other reviewers have said- the market setting up and the church bells can be noisy, but I quite liked watching the market and you are in the middle of a working town.

I stayed for two nights at this lovely hotel in May in a first floor room overlooking the market square and very near St. Catherine's Church. Very friendly staff, comfortable bed and room. As someone else has mentioned, the view over the market square is great, but the setting up of the market can wake you up, and they set up at 6.30am on Saturday's. However I didn't find this a huge problem at all. Breakfast was good and varied. Nice sized bathroom, shower a little small, but adequate. Beware if you don't like stairs as this is an old historic building, but as an OAP I managed them and they were thoughtful enough to put me in a 1st floor room, If you're mobile then there's no problem anyway. I would stay here again. Absolutely ideal central location, near everything, and a step and a half away from the harbour.

Room tip: I stayed at the front on the first floor, as mentioned there is no lift and lots of steps, so if you're not too mobile ask for a first floor room. Lovely view over the market square, but beware of this room if you don't want to wake early because of the 6.30am setting up of the market.

We loved this little hotel with this caveat: parking can be challenging. If you don't get one of the few spots near the hotel, you have about a 150 meter uphill walk to the free parking. However, the location is great, right in the middle of the city. The rooms are not glitzy or modern but that is not the point. They may be boarding house bare but they are clean and well maintained. You really feel like you are in an old hotel in a very old city and there is nothing wrong with that. The management are charming, helpful and friendly. We liked the breakfast for 6E each with juice, breads, cereal and lots of coffee. We'd stay there again.

Room tip: The "family" room is pretty cool and seemed more quiet. It is actually two rooms with a small connecting stairs and it is located on the second floor i.e., not too far up.

We only stayed one night but this was a perfect location in Honfleur. Our room looked over the square which is both a benefit and a slight downside. It was wonderful being able to watch life go by and the bustling market in the morning but just be aware that you will hear it being set up from early in the morning. The staff were friendly and helpful and everything is on your doorstep. The rooms are comfortable and charming but if you are wanting a five star experience where you could be in any high end hotel room, this isn't the hotel for you. If however, you want a French experience with quirky style, then this is the place for you.
