Stayed at the Hotel Flaubert with my mum in July 2009, booked this hotel based on the reviews on trip advisor and also on recommendation of the travel agent. After an eary start and an experience on the metro, we arrived at the hotel just after 2pm and were greeted by a friendly receptionist. We had one of their garden rooms, which was small but just what we needed as it was only for putting our heads down. Breakfast was very continental, cereal and croissants, with a choice of teas and coffee. I would definately visit this hotel again de to it being within easy access of the metro and all of the Parisian sites.

Have just returned from a City Break in Paris and stayed at the Hotel Flaubert. It is a small hotel but within easy access to all the attractions and the metro. The hotel itself is a bit dated in parts. We stayed in a room at the front of the hotel and being on the first floor it was noisy at night and not very private if you had your window open. There were some rooms which opened on to the courtyard which would have been less noisy and with a bit more privacy. The decor of the halls was very dated and a bit of a clean of the carpets etc is needed in parts but the rooms were adequately furnished and clean, although small. The breakfast was great, continental but eat as much as you liked, we filled up and didn't need much at lunchtimes. Although there are no tea'coffee making facilities in the rooms there was a cold drinks dispenser in the breakfast room which was reasonably priced. The staff were polite and helpful. All in all, for the price this proved a good find.

This is the second time I have stayed in this hotel. The last time was May 2008.

Very happy with the hotel in general. Their 2 & 3 stars do not match ours over in the UK. So don't expecttea/coffee facilities in the room. They have breakfast between 7am-1am, that's the only time you can get bevarages from the hotel. I did however, ask for some ice and got that straight away.

Staff were friendly & pleasant. The room itself was a double, but with a shower rather then bath tube as stated on their website. The rooms are very basic, but as I was only staying there 2 nights & hardl ever in he room, this wasn't a problem.

Location wise, the Arc de Triumph was a 15min walk, the Eifle Tower, 30 mins, with the nearest Metro being Ternes, 5mins from the hotel.

Would always go back to this hotel next time I visit, despite the Parisians being very unfriendly. I wasn't there for them!

We visited Paris for Valentines day in 2005, and although we didnt like Paris itself much this little hotel was fab! It was in a perfect location for the price, we have a lovely room overlooking a beautiful little garden and the breakfast was nice.

Its a shame we wont be visiting Paris again, but if we did, we would stay here again!
