“Great B&B”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 23 July 2010

My husband and I stayed at the Maple Lodge for 1 night of our honeymoon! We really loved our B&B. It looks like a museum inside, and the rooms are large and very clean. Although we didn't like the surrounding area. We felt like the Maple Lodge was a palace that was placed in the middle of the ghetto. It was very strange, but the host and hostess were very nice and they even helped us with directions the next day to find our next destination. If you decide to stay in wexford, you will definitely like your stay in the Maple Lodge!

“Very helpful owners”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 21 July 2010

We only stayed at Maple Lodge for 1 night, but we would recommend it highly. It was very clean and well kept. Margaret and Eammon were extremely helpful when it came to giving us tips on places to visit, shop and dine.
We were looking for a nice bottle of wine as a gift for friends we were visiting and they suggested Green Acres in Wexford - a finer wine shop, I've never seen. They also told us about a potter in Castlebridge
We were also quite surprised at the fine meal we enjoyed at Fordes (recommended by Margaret) in Castlebridge and the friendly atmosphere there.

“Maple Lodge is an outstanding B&B- a real treat for those in need of a break!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 19 July 2010

My husband and I stayed in Maple Lodge with our two 14 year olds in July 2010. What a beautiful B&B.! We were greeted at the door by the owner who kindly showed us to our immaculate and spacious rooms. Maple Lodge is a home with charming character. A lot of effort has gone into making this B&B welcoming and comfortable. Everything is finished to perfection. Our two girls loved their room! We had a gorgeous breakfast which set us up nicely for our trip to Curracloe beachand Ravenswood Nature Park which is only a 10 minute drive away. Maple Lodge has everything you could wish for in an Irish B&B, spotless and comfortable rooms with friendly helpful staff. We plan on visiting Wexford more often now because of the beautiful beaches and scenery. Maple Lodge is the only place we would stay in! Anne-Marie & Pat Tumelty

“Awesome stay, awesome Irish pancakes.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 July 2010

The rooms were beautiful, and so was the house! The breakfast was great! I highly recommend getting the pancakes for breakfast if you stay there.
We really enjoyed seeing the beach where the opening scene of "Saving Private Ryan" was filmed. It was a quick trip, and very beautiful! The town of Wexford was also lovely :)
