“Maple Lodge is an outstanding B&B- a real treat for those in need of a break!”

My husband and I stayed in Maple Lodge with our two 14 year olds in July 2010. What a beautiful B&B.! We were greeted at the door by the owner who kindly showed us to our immaculate and spacious rooms. Maple Lodge is a home with charming character. A lot of effort has gone into making this B&B welcoming and comfortable. Everything is finished to perfection. Our two girls loved their room! We had a gorgeous breakfast which set us up nicely for our trip to Curracloe beachand Ravenswood Nature Park which is only a 10 minute drive away. Maple Lodge has everything you could wish for in an Irish B&B, spotless and comfortable rooms with friendly helpful staff. We plan on visiting Wexford more often now because of the beautiful beaches and scenery. Maple Lodge is the only place we would stay in! Anne-Marie & Pat Tumelty

“Awesome stay, awesome Irish pancakes.”

The rooms were beautiful, and so was the house! The breakfast was great! I highly recommend getting the pancakes for breakfast if you stay there.
We really enjoyed seeing the beach where the opening scene of "Saving Private Ryan" was filmed. It was a quick trip, and very beautiful! The town of Wexford was also lovely :)

“A wonderful stay with wonderful hospitality”

We had a wondeful experience in this Bed and Breakfast. The room was very clean and we had a very comfortable king size bed. The towels were large and fluffy. It was very quiet and we were able to get a good night's sleep. The next morning we had a gourmet breakfast with delicious, beautifully presented pancakes. There was also organic blueberry yogurt that was one of the best yogurts I have tasted. Our hosts were very helpful and knowledgable about the area. They recommended a restaurant that we were able to walk to and that had great food. I would highly recommend this Bed and Breakfast.

“How can you improve on perfection!”

On our 3rd trip to Wexford we stayed at Maple Lodge for the 3rd time. As usual the welcome was warm and friendly, the rooms were still to the high standard they have always been and the pancakes were as good as ever. Thanks again. See you again soon

“Great B&B!”

On our trip to Ireland we decided to stay one night in the Wexford area, so that the 'bird-watcher' in our group could visit the Wexford Wildfowl Reserve.
We expected the great reviews of Maple Lodge to be a bit 'exaggerated' - but they were not!! We felt very welcome from the moment we arrived.
The room were very nice, and very clean! And yes, the pancaces are to die for!! Margaret kindly gave us the recipe, but I think the atmosphere of the breakfast-room at Maple Lodge will be difficult to re-create at home..
A 10 mins walk from the B&B we had dinner at a very good restaurant, recommended by Margaret. The rooms do not have tea making facilities, but this is not a problem.There is a nice lounge where you can have tea and coffee (or bring a bottle of wine) and have a chat with the other guests.
All in all we were very pleased with our stay at Maple Lodge, and will definitely be coming back!
