“Awesome B&B - 5+ STAR”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 25 September 2009

This was the best B&B we stayed in during our week long tour of Southern Ireland. Their home was very tastefully decorated and spotless. Our room was beautiful and very comfortable. Margaredt was very welcoming upon our arrival and gave us great suggestions for things to see and do during our short stay. The beach nearby was beautiful even though it was too cool to enter the water. The hotel restaurant in Wexford Margaret recommended had a great menu with excellent food in very healthy servings. Breakfast was delicious and cooked to order. We would definitely stay here again and recommend Maple Lodge to our friends. Thanks again Margaret, it was great to meet you and your husband.

“Excellent”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 24 August 2009

We were lucky enough to end our vacation at the Maple Lodge.
Perfectly maintained home, very nice room, everything was very comfortable and we felt very welcome.
If we visit Ireland again, we will make sure to stop by again.
Tip : Margaret´s pancakes are to die for !

“WILL NOT BE BEATEN”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 5 August 2009

If you want a holiday break in comfort & style, the Maple Lodge is the place to stay. A more friendlier and helpful couplle than Margaret & Eamon you will not find anywhere. Nothing is ever too much trouble and your every need is catered for. Alot of 4 & 5 star hotels around would do well to keep up with the very high standards of this B & B. We have stayed in many B & B's throughout Ireland and none even come close. We have tried the rest and now we stay in the best. Really looking forward to returning soon.

“Superb out-of-town B&B”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 21 July 2009

I heartily agree with the other reviewers of this B&B - it was the best of the six we stayed at on our recent tour of southern Ireland. We particularly liked the breakfast. Our only slight criticism (and it really is slight) is the lack of a tea and coffee making facility in the rooms - this is available in the lounge, but this is no good for an early morning cup of tea in bed! We would certainly stay there again.

“Wonderful B&B - Margaret is LOVELY!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 6 July 2009

We only stayed one night in Castlebridge at the Maple Lodge, but we had a fantastic time. The room was bright and spacious, and the bathroom a decent size. As soon as we arrived, Margaret heated up some scones and we had tea in the sitting room. She had great suggestions for something quick to do for our short time there (a 10 minute drive over to beautiful Curracloe beach) and even better suggestions about things to stop off and see on our drive up to Kilkenny the next day (famine ship in New Ross and the pretty little village of Inistioge). The breakfast was delicious (pancakes were yummy, and a nice break for all the eggs we had and would have over the course of our trip!) and Margaret was even nice enough to let us use her computer quickly when an urgent email needed to be sent. I would definitely recommend this clean, bright and friendly B&B!!
