“Wonderful equestrian holiday”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 3 July 2009

This place is fantastic. The riding is great, the instructors tailor the lessons to focus on what you want to work on, and the horses are all extremely well-trained. There is a fantastic cross-country course, which is great even just for hacking through. Pat and Jenna the instructors are really wonderful, they push you but not beyond what you can handle.
The atmosphere of the whole place is very comfortable, Linda and everyone else are welcoming and accommodating. You are well looked after at this place, without being fussed over. It was also very nice to meet the other guests, as all the meals and riding lessons are shared. It was a great experience. I will definitely be going back if I get the chance!

“Genuine hospitality”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 13 February 2009

Annaharvey Farm is a hospitable family run equestrian centre that is well worth visiting. I have been there at least once a year for the last six or seven years or so (travelling across from the UK) and have very happy memories of some great holidays. There is a good variety of horses for all abilities of leisure riders and similarly a mix of cross-country jumps for the novice to more experienced riders. Typically one rides in small instructed groups.
All this is backed up by quality wholesome food and comfortable rooms - and it is in easy distance of Tullamore for a night out.
I will be visiting Annaharvey again......

“A lovley place”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 4 February 2009

Every time I come back home from a visit at Annaharvey farm, I feel like booking tickets for my next trip back! This is the perfect place to be, in many ways. First of all, if you are into riding, which you probably are if you go here, they have the best facilities. Indoor arena, outdoor arena and a fabulous cross country course, with fences for all riders. The horses on the farm are great, there is a horse to suit everyone, and ponies for the children. The horses are great characters, and you get to know them after spending just a few days at the farm. After a long day outside in the Irish weather, with many hours riding, there is always time to enjoy a cup of Irish tea and homemade biscuits in the guest house while watching the horses play outside! Lynda and Henry, owners of Annaharvey are lovely, and you can't but feel at home. The staff is always very helpful, and looks after you in the best possible way. The lessons are of great standard. That the instructors likes their job isn't hard to understand. I have been to Annaharvey for a few times now, and I will keep coming back.

“its a home, away”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 3 February 2009

I am a boomerang. There is no denying it. Ever since I first went to Annaharvey Farm in September 2001 I just keep going back. Over the years my motives might have changed a few times, but the feeling when I get there is just the same. Its a home, away from home. It might seem like I ask for a little, but for me the combination of a great cross-country ride, a cup of tea and some good friends are all I need to feel completely satisfied. Combine this with a great meal, a good book and a good nights sleep away from the hectic everyday life and then its no longer such a wonder why I keep going back. And the cherry on the top, grädden på moset, is the Deverell family and the rest of the staff who seem to have the ability to know what I need before I do and to make everyone feel welcome. I know that its not just me who has had this experince as I have seen a lot of other guests just as happy as me, and they too come back, but i suppose the only way to know for sure is to go and see for yourself.

“Best Equestrian B&B in Ireland”

It has been a little over a year since we had the pleasure of staying at Annaharvey Farm with Lynda and Henry. What a lovely place in Tullamore. There were three of us, my husband and I, and our 6 year old daughter. From the moment we arrived and until we left there was always a steaming cup of hot tea as well as the best ever cookies for you to sample. The linens and rooms are kept clean and tidy and were a welcome sight after just flying in from LAX to Dublin. During the course of the next day, we had the pleasure of riding their well kept and healthy horses over their beautiful country -side. We are going again this April, where we will once again enjoy the lovely grounds, the cozy and well kept B&B, and the warmth of Lynda and Henry. Enjoy your stay as well.
