excellent value for money. nice clean rooms and friendly service. breakfast excellent, so many choices and staff will bend over backwards with a cheerful smile. option to visit local spa at no extra cost. centrally located for sightseeing.

We couldn't believe we got a rate of E75/night, though for a weekday, in a city-centre 4 star hotel. We were surprised still by the location of the hotel, and the fact that it has a parking lot for 40-odd cars in such a central location. Though we were lucky to steal the last place available when we arrived! The check-in was smooth, the staff nice and helpful, the room of decent size, the staff super-quick (it was seconds after we entered the room, that we received a staff member carrying the baby cot for the room. The room-size was ample. The beds looked exactly-like on the hotel's website, and were snooze-worthy. But the best part, for the umpteenth time, was the location.

The only disappointing feature was the breakfast. Bland and limited choice. But the room was crowded & staff very attentive. You have to accept that hotel breakfasts in Ireland can be no match for the B&Bs. But still, great location. Go book it, if you get a great rate.

Stayed here for one night. Really nice hotel and good value. It was a particularly good the hotel has aircon as it was a warm night. Nice shampoo and soap! Breakfast room lacks a bit of charn though.

The Pembroke was our favorite hotel. It had everything; free wifi, breakfast included, free parking, US style outlet, comfy beds. And it was walking distance to many sights in Kilkenny and tons of restaurants, bars, and shops.
