We arrived on Sunday 4th July for three nights bed, breakfast and dinner on three nights.
Reception was friendly and efficient and we were soon in our room .This was quite large and airy with three windows looking out on the main road. the usual tea -making facilities were provided with a proper filter pot for the filter coffee . Also on the table was a bowl of fruit, two bottles of water and two mini bottles of wine. Toweling robes and slippers were neatly packaged on a super king size bed. Multi channel tv and radio was available via a 32in flat screen tv which was also used for internet and to buy movies. The bathroom was large and well stocked with the usual shampoos etc All very clean. The safe is not large enough to take a laptop.
Dinner was very pleasant from a limited menu and the house wine was very good value at 15euro.The food was cooked to order and tasted very well. in fact, we did not sample the sweets menu because we simply could not eat anymore. A pot of filer coffee and some mint sweets concluded the meal, King prawns have a surcharge of two euro and fillet steak 5 euro.
Breakfast was very good. Again the fry was done to order with first class foods and there was a wide array of cereals etc. The staff were friendly and attentive without being over fussy.
The downside of this hotel is its location beside a busy junction where there can be quite a bit of traffic noise.
There is no entertainment Sunday to Thursday so a taxi is a must after dinner
