“Great location. great experience.”

I very much enjoyed my stay here. I was traveling alone and had a single room. It had a double bed, and was not large, but roomy enough. I checked out a room that opened onto the garden - it was a nice size. The breakfast was good - cereals, toast, rools, ham, cheese. The breakfast room and attached front room were roomy and inviting. The location was great - not near much but right on the bus line both to the airport and downtown. Like someone else mentioned, there is a great Chinese restaurant down the street and there is also a little shop for sodas, chips, etc. The staff was very nice and accomodating. The garden in back was very nice, though I didn't spend any time in it.

“The french connection”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 11 February 2009

We found the B&B through the internet. We were 14 people coming for the Rugby game. It was a great experience and we enjoyed the kindness of the people there as well as the cleanliness of the place. It is very convenient with buses going to the airport (15 minutes) and to the center (roughly the same time) as well as going to... Croke Park.
They suggested us a tour which was fantastic!
A perfect trip, everybody's happy.

“Basic and cold”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 5 November 2008

We arrived back at the B&B after an afternoon sightseeing in Dublin wet and very cold, hoping to warm up in our room but the heating was off. We waited around for an hour for someone to turn up then walked across the road to the other B&B owned by the same people to ask what time the heating came on. This was the only time we had any contact with the owner. Even though it was a very cold day the heating only came on at 5pm and turned off around 9pm! We had to hop into bed to try to keep warm.

A young Polish woman seemed to be in 'charge' of breakfasts and cleaning and tried her best to be friendly but most of the time we seemed to have had the B&B all to ourselves.

Breakfast was a 'help' yourself affair, choosing from a very basic selection of toast, slices of cheese and salami and cereal. This was the only time we met the other guests who seemed as cold and as miserable as ourselves.

The room was basically clean but nothing special.

Actually, we couldn't wait to leave. It was all a bit depressing!

“Grade A Standard Accommodation”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 18 September 2008

This B+B is grade A standard accommodation. I spent two weeks here. The rooms are comfortable and warm. The place is immaculate. The breakfast is excellant and offers everything. They have an excellant system of where you can go into the breakfast room at any time, where there is a constant supply of yoghurts, bread, fruit, cereal, selection of teas, hot chocolate etc, and they allowed me to cook in the kitchen in the evenings. The area is safe and all the bus routes are just 100metres away. The people who run the place are lovely, warm, friendly and accommodating. I have really enjoyed my stay here and will certainly recommend it to others.
