This resturant was fantastic! We walked by it and decided to try it. We got a table as we walked in and the service got us waited on very quickly. The food was amazing. All of us loved our meals. I had the market salad and the dressing was to die for. It was not very expensive for all that you got and it was an overall great experience. If I lived in cork, I would go to the market lane every night!

Market Lane has a high turnover of customers, but this does not affect their ability to provide top quality food and service from the second you walk in the door. The wait staff were amazing and so well trained and experienced that the night ran like clockwork. Not only was every part of the evening perfectly timed and efficient, but all staff were incredibly friendly and professional. The food was unbelievable. Tastes and smells were great and dishes were very well presented with large servings. My recommendation would be their most popular dish - ham hock and savoy cabbage - a very large portion and very tasty. Prices are very reasonable!

Spent a couple of days in Cork and was looking for a restaurant within walking distance of the River Lee Hotel. We found Market Lane on TripAdvisor and we were not disappointed! The food was excellent and my children enjoyed their choices off the kid's menu. The atmosphere was lively, even though it was a Monday night. The service was top notch and we enjoyed chatting with our waiter, who was from Italy. For a fine night of dining Market Lane is a must!
