after 10 years of visiting Scoltand as a group we opted for the west coast for the 1st time.
After some assisted research we opted for the Abbotsford Hotel as our base for the weekend venture. AND WHAT A DECISION. The staff ( and I mean all of them) could not have been more helpful and welcoming. They could not do enough for us regardless of the topic. The rooms were great. The decor the most quirky I have ever seen and the atmosphere exactly what a tourist would expect from a hotel.

FANTASTIC PLACE . NO NEED TO LOOK ANYWHERE ELSE

As organiser of a golf party of 16, I was extremely pleased by all aspects of our stay. From the initial welcome through to the departure, we were made to feel we were important and will be keen to return in the not too distant future. Food and drink were good as was the overall service. Many thanks to Paul and team!

We had a 2 night stay at the Abbotsford Hotel with another 4 friends. Our rooms were spacious, bright and very comfortable. The hotel has a wonderful friendly atmosphere and we all felt very at ease. We ate both nights in the hotel restaurant and the food was beautiful and great value. Breakfast was also terrific with a fantastic choice. The family owners made us feel very welcome and we will certainly be returning for our get together next year - if not before. A great value hotel.

Our group (6 guys) visited this hotel 6 years ago and had great time back then. Anyone who is visiting the area requiring accommodation must stay here. The staff are incredibly welcoming and friendly, the rooms are clean and comfortable, the atmosphere is relaxed, the food is quite simply superb and the most amazing thing was the price - brilliant VFM!!!
The only thing we couldn't understand is why it has taken us 6 years to re-visit, we will definately be back this year.
P.S The golf was also top draw!!
