Stayed here last July for a birthday. During our stay the fire alarm went off, but there was no fire escape plan in the room. Guests were left wandering about outside the building, but due to it not being connected to the Fire Service, no fire crew arrived.
I rang the emergency phone number for the management company and was asked by the man at the other end to check if there was any smoke and decide if he should call out the fire brigade or not.
Was left feeling very unsafe and not confident this company is committed to the safety and wellbeing of guests. Have written to the company several times since August in the hope of an apology or acknowledgement that things were not as they should have been. Still waiting for the promised written response.
There is no shortage of luxury apartment accommodation in Glasgow (I've stayed in lots of them) - but in future, I'll stay clear of the Centrale and choose somewhere else.

My sister and I stayed 4 nights at Glasgow Centrale. We had requested a twin room but were told they only had doubles however when we arrived, we found we had been upgraded to a 2 bedroom apartment with ensuite plus main bathroom. The apartment was huge, clean and very comfortable with everything one could need, including wifi. Unfortunately some of the appliances didn't have instruction manuals. I was told there were none available. It would be helpful if some basic guidelines (e.g. to the convection microwave) could be provided. The property was handy to Queen St and Central stations, shops and buses.

We stayed in a two bed apartment when my friends and I came up to stay for a long weekend in Glasgow.

We were delighted by the size and location of the apartments. Kitchen is well equipped with all the mod cons! One bedroom was en-suite which was an added bonus.

We arrived late afternoon and met a lovely girl on reception who was very helpful telling of places to eat and drink! Being where it is so close to the city but away enough so that you don't have the noise or busy-ness!

We would normally stay in a hotel, but being able to have your own space in an apartment is by FAR better than a hotel. There was a lounge and dining area.

We would definitely stay here again and have recommended it to our friends.

We have stayed here a few times now and were so impressed before that we wrote a review on this very site. Unfortunately though our stay early February was nowhere near as good as on previous visits. The apartments felt a little unloved and not as clean as before. Obvious signs of wear and tear. We called to make a reservation direct and got a guy on the phone who didn't seem to know what was what. Previously and as mentioned on the site, we dealt with a lovely girl who made us feel like old friends. Making recommendations etc. She even recognised our name from previous stays. He was so vague then asked us to send over an email with our requirements which we did. Granted once we'd emailed over we received a reply quickly and the reservation was all in order. The offerings in the morning were poor - the pastries were stale and the coffee was horrible. It was complimentary so I think they must serve the cheapest of the cheap to cover their costs. I don't think we'll go back here. Other apartments in the city we've sinced discovered Fraser Suites, Glasgow Central and The Spires offer a more enjoyable experience.
