My small group of 10 were treated like royalty at The Dunvegan. Jack and Sheena and the whole staff bent over backwards for us. They booked tee times, called cabs, gave us shopping tips, and even let us have "Aggie Night" in the bar! We found the food and the service excellent, BUT the guest towels were my favorite. They are huge and really thick!
The computer and free internet service in the suite was very handy too. The hotel is only a block away from the Old Course. I highly recommend the hotel.

I've stayed at the Dunvegan a few times over the past few years while looking for a property in St Andrews. The rooms have recently been tastefully refurbished to a high-quality and are always clean and tidy. Now settled here, I frequently eat in the restaurant or pop round for a bite to eat after a round of golf. Whether visiting with family, friends or on my own, I have always received excellent service and fantastic food. A recent visit to Dunvegans with 3 friends from South Africa lived up to their expectations as the "place to go" in St Andrews for golf enthusiasts wanting a casual, comfortable environment for good food, drinks and conversation. Sheena and Jack were, as always, welcoming and friendly. Many thanks again!

Being American I am afraid we sometimes expect everything in the U.S. to be (bigger and) better.....not always the case. I have stayed at Dunvegan Hotel a decent number of times over the past five years and frankly am embarrassed that I have not written a review before now. Dunvegan accommodation has always been every bit as nice and as comfortable as the larger, more expensive hotels I have stayed at. The owners, Sheena and Jack, plus their entire staff, have always made me feel welcome. They give first class service.......the food is top shelf and the admosphere in the Dunvegan pub is very friendly and electric...........I never fail to tell my American friends about the Dunvegan Hotel!!

The Duvegan is the place to stay in St. Andrews. Jack & Sheena arranged all our tee times and transportation before we arrived in Scotland. All we had to do was show up & play.

The hotel is close to the Old Course. It's a short walk to town if you want to do any shopping. Golf shops are on every corner.

The wait staff at the hotel was very friendly and attentive - the pub at the hotel was packed every night. The appetizers in the pub were excellent & the restaurant was just as good.

If you're looking for a hassle free golfing vacation - this is the place.
