the apartments are very well equipped, spacious and a great alternative to a cramped hotel room which could work out at twice the price. However, given the weather and such in Edinburgh, I think the location isnt the most central for site seeing and night life, although only 15 minute walk from top of Royal mile, it would have been nicer to have the hotel that bit nearer.

Our hotel deal did not include breakfast, but it was nice to be able to buy our own breakfast and cook there, which helps saves a few pound.

However, I did request an apartment above the first floor (given the previous reviews) but was not given one instead we were in the basement! however, although you can hear the trains below it is not a terrible nuisance and I wouldnt mind staying in the basement again as you get nice view of gardens!

There is an early check out time of 10:30am.

I would recomend the apartments to any traveller staying more than 1 night in Edinburgh, as they provide all facilities to make a comfortable stay but I do admit I prefer the luxury of hotel, (cooked breakfast in the morning etc..which is nice for a 1 night break) but at the price i paid 150euro for 2 nights I am more than delighted with the apartments and value for money in Edinburgh

These apartments were a perfect break from the cramped overpriced hotels we were staying at previously. These apartments were very clean, quite, and located in a great part of town. We enjoyed the easy access to the Royal Mile (10-15 min walk) and the Haymarket Station. The pub across the street, Carters, was a nice place to unwind after a days worth of walking and touring. The sandwich shop, Tram Stop, down the street near the Haymarket station proved be an excellent and cheap place to grab a bite to eat (try the split pea soup, it was devine). Overall these apartments are very nice, helpful staff (they are only around during the day), and clean. The washing machine was also key so that we could have a clean set of clothes for the rest of our trip. The complimentary bread, butter, milk and jam was the cherry on top of the icing on top of the wonderful place which is Fountain Court Apartments Morrison.

We were on a short trip to 3 cities in the UK and this was undoubtedly the best place we stayed in .

Good points:
Location-excellent.It is a short walk from Haymarket station
A 10 minute walk from Princes street

Ambience - Good ,Friendly
Reception - Cozy
Rooms - Bright ,tastefully done,equipped with all the amenities required for a good stay
Most important - It gives you the privacy you need

Not so good points:
Since there is no lift, It is slightly difficult to carry luggage to the higher floors.

Bad points:
None

As a seasoned business traveller I have stayed in many hotels - and this is definitely a superior choice.

very clean, very new, very well decorated, very comfortable

only downside - and this is not the apartments fault - is location with associated city centre noise -

GET A ROOM - AT THE BACK - WELL ABOVE GROUND FLOOR
for a perfectly quiet night sleep - the front of building is noisy with thoroughfare road/bars, bottom is above Haymarket railway line.

Given the above still HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
