We loved our stay at Ardmor House. Robin and Barry have created such a cool and contemporary home which is really comfortable. Enjoyable breakfasts served with plenty of choice and home-made breads and oatcakes. A great location with super restaurants in walking distance, it was wonderful leaving the car parked up for 3 days and enjoying Edinburgh, Their local recommendations are fantastic. Definitely a place we will return to.

If you are planning a trip to Edinburgh for the first time, please try to book accommodation at Ardmor House! The warm welcome, fabulous home baking, delicious breakfast, luxurious and stylish room and gorgeous hosts (Robin & Barry, as well as the lovely Vera!) will make your first impressions of the most beautiful city in the world perfect!

My partner and I spent a fantastic weekend celebrating our anniversary in Ednburgh at the Ardmor and will definitely return in the future!

When you walk into Ardmor House you realise this will be something a bit special. A wonderful warm welcome from the host Robin with elder-flower cordial and shortbread biscuit whilst your bags are taken to your room. The room I stayed in was sumptuous and felt 5 stars. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom clean with really nice toiletries and a really handy fridge. The breakfast was quality with a wide selection of hot and cold goodies. The hotel is a short walk to the town centre and all the cultural and leisure delights of Edinburgh. The nearby bus stop is really useful to get into town and to go out to Leigh, the waterfront and Leigh Water Walk. Overall this is a wonderful way to spend time in Edinburgh and would recommend staying at Ardmor House.

Proprietors Robin and Barry could make a closet feel like a 5 star establishment. Thankfully, their accommodations are much larger and grander than a closet! The grounds and rooms were well appointed from the linens to the bath amenities. It was clean, tasteful and modern. The location is residential and quiet, a £20 taxi fare from the airport. But the Proprietors absolutely made the stay outstanding. Their friendly, cheerful can-do attitudes were immensely helpful and welcome. No request was too difficult for them. Their breakfast was abundant, freshly cooked pastries from their kitchen in addition to several variations of a full Scottish breakfast. They set the bar very high for our 3 week stay, traveling around the country. We longed for these proprietors as we stayed in different accommodations every night. Book with them, you won't be sorry.

The Ardmor House was a delightful B&B just off of Leith Walk, which has loads of good restaurants along the way, and passes Calton Hill en route to the Old City of Edinburgh. The breakfasts were fantastic, the rooms clean, quiet, and with all the amenities you need. Great neighborhood! Robin and the hosts are also wonderful – thanks for a great visit to Edinburgh!
