“Wonderful B & B”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 4 June 2009

A parrot in a huge cage with lots of fascinating toys, and boxes it likes to hide in, two shiny friendly black cats, beautiful light, uncluttered and airy breakfast room with views stretching miles to the horizon, perfect mushrooms for breakfast and home-made bread toasted, gorgeous sausage and black pudding, lots of fresh orange juice, such interest in us and concern for us. It was my birthday and I got a personalised Happy Birthday breakfast menu, then Mike gave me a present of a card-framed picture of puffins. The bedroom had luxurious silky spotless curtains, the en suite was delightful, chrome and glass and tiles highly polished, quite immaculate, we were welcomed with a cafetiere of coffee when we arrived, shown all over, the happy parrot's room, the busy office with piles of papers, the airy sunny sitting room, outside were home-grown vegetables. The bedroom had slidey french windows easy to open. I felt Mike and Jill were truly caring, loving and honest people.

“Excellent friendly service”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 10 May 2009

From the time the booking process was handled efficiently to our departure from the B&B, everything was handled in a fully professional and friendly manner.
The care taken over breakfast - from personalised menus to home made porridge with rhubard - was outstanding.

“Home from home B & B”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 24 March 2009

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay with Mike and Jill, especially as we were interested in wildlife and birdwatching. Breakfasts were something to really look forward to! Home-made tattie scones and fresh eggs from their own hens and lots more. Enjoyed the comfort of the spacious lounge with views across the fields. We can highly recommend this relaxed and friendly accommodation.

“Great Hospitality and enjoyable visit”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 5 March 2009

We stayed at Greenbrae for 4 days, and found the place to be like home from home - nothing is too much trouble for Jill and Mike, and you can be assured of a warm and friendly welcome. The House is beautiful and spacious with lots of surrounding countryside and wildlife to enjoy.
The rooms are very spacious and comfortable and are fully equipped with a high standard of amenities. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and would highly recommend this lovely B&B for all to enjoy. Many Thanks.....................................

“Renewed my faith in B&Bs”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 February 2009

Stayed here just last night and I had to write this review to say what a lovely place this is.

My partner and I were visiting for a wedding so we really just needed somewhere to rest our heads - Greenbrae was just lovely with large (fully wheelchair accessible) rooms and lovely touches all round - including the aforementioned personalised menus.

Mike and Jill make you feel very welcome without being overly interfering, and Mike's cooking was great.

All round, a fantastic little place.
