Had booked two rooms for a weekend break and got an upgrade on one of them (for us, the gilrs got a standard room). Very pleasant front-desk staff, all Irish as were the waiting staff - good level of service all round. Upgraded room was alrge, king size bed and well-equipped - upgrade (apart from size of room) seemed to be about little details - eg complementary bottles of water.
Ate in restauarant first evening as late arriving - food was good, much locally sourced, well-presented. Breakfasts also good - buffet style but fresh and very hot.
Hotle is well located for city centre sightseeing - including potential student's visit to Queens University - and would recommend it!
Yes rooms not cheap for weekend break but we used Tesco reward vouchers and were very happy.
