Our stay here was fabulous. We arrived with my cousin and her husband for a four night stay, from Monday to Friday. From the moment we arrived (when we were upgraded to a suite due to the hotel being fairly quiet during our particular few days) the owners and staff could not have done any more for us. Throughout our stay they were extremely welcoming, helpful and friendly at all times. The rooms are beautifully decorated, with very comfortable beds and lovely fluffy towels in a very spacious en-suite bathroom. I have to say I have never seen a hotel so sparklingly clean. The food was fantastic in taste, quality and presentation, we went home with very tight waistbands!.
We particularly enjoyed the fact the hotel was a short walk out of Stow, away from the tourist areas.
We would all love to go back and would recomend it to anyone who fancies a trip to the Cotswolds.
Congratulations to Caroline & Patricia Losel you have a superb hotel.

We are delighted to hear that your stay with us was so enjoyable and of course Brian Cutler, our chef is pleased to hear you enjoyed your dining experience with us. We hope we will have the opportunity of welcoming you all back to the Cotswolds soon....especially now that the summer has finally arrived.

With regards from sunny Stow,

Caroline & Patricia Losel

Hotel gives good initial impression of efficiency and cleanliness which is maintained throughout stay. Staff very welcoming, attentive and courteous. Room immaculate. Dining of excellent quality, with reasonably wide choice and good service. Location gives easy access to Stow and neighbourhood with pleasant walking country.
Best points: food quality and general service. Masses of parking space.
Worst point : could do with a few more coathangers in wardrobe.

If you fancy somewhere still new and fresh but with the personality of a family run buisness then this place is ideal. We chose the hotel for our honeymoon based on the good reviews on trip advisor. We did let them know in advance that it was our honeymoon so on arrival they gave us a free upgrade to a suite and a knock on the door soon after arrival brought 2 glasses of fizzy wine! All nice touches you just wouldn't get with a chain!
The hotel is ideally suited to explore the little villages of the cotswolds and the friendly staff ever attentive to any request for help or advice about the area.
Breakfast is delicious and the waiting staff can't do any more for you
Dinner was excellent and pleasant evening
Would definatly recommend

Room tip: Suite gives that little extra space of staying day

We stayed at Number Four on the off chance, and what a great place. The team were welcoming, warm and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Good food and wine too. Although a short walk to Stow we found that a bonus. I recommend this fabulous hotel. David Turnbull
