I agree with the previous reviews - the cabins are quiet, the setting is lovely, the little touches like the playing cards in the room were nice. And mainly, the value! This was the only place we stayed out of 3 on a trip to the Kootenays that provided good value for money. For $75 per night we got a large room with two beds, a table and chairs, good wi-fi, and a microwave/fridge. And there are barbecues and picnic tables for guests to use. It's a bit quirky, apparently they're slowly renovating the cabins and I don't think they'd gotten to ours yet, it still had some pretty old fixtures, but everything worked and it was clean and spacious.
Only 2 complaints - this was the 2nd place we stayed with no clock radio. There must be an alarm clock theft problem in this part of BC. Also, the lock on the door could've been a bit more robust and the chain was broken, though I can't imagine B&E's are a big problem in Creston. But those are pretty small things for an otherwise great place.
