We have driven through Creston annually, and have tried many motels - but this is the first I can say I cannot WAIT to visit again. It is not only charming and so beautifully quiet, but the unit we stayed in was beyond spotlessly clean. There is a charm about the place, from the home-grown touches including crib board and games in your room, to the many benches and chairs around the property from which we enjoyed the view and the summer evening. My only regret was we were simply passing through - we will definitely go back to this motel the next time we are in town, and have already spread the word to all our friends and family to do the same.

I must say, this motel looked rundown from the outside. This motel consists of cabins here and there on sloping, treed property. However, upon entering our room I was pleasantly surprised. Our room was small, but very clean and compact, complete with kitchenette. The only thing missing was a microwave. It appeared to have been newly painted and updated and had some nice wall hangings that added to the cabin feel. We had our 2 small dogs along and were charged $5 each, which we found to be very reasonable. There was even a chair in the room that could fold out to a single bed. All in all, we had a comfortable night!
