We stumbled upon this wonderful B&B one night (over 2 years ago) and it was truly a stroke of luck - and fate. We have been back several times now, and just had our wedding there this past weekend!! What a magical experience - we could not have chosen a better place for a small, intimate wedding in a beautiful natural setting!
Robert is an incredible host, very accommodating, always making the guests comfortable and providing everything we need, while staying out of our way. The 5 rooms are all beautiful and each has its own unique charm. Obviously, I would recommend the Suite Tremblant for a couple as it is the most romantic and scenic room you will find anywhere! During the off season, you can find some incredible deals so keep checking back on the website home page.
There are nearby paths for walking, running, biking, hiking, roller blading, etc. Also, the picturesque Village is only 5 min drive away. Once there, there are tons of nice boutiques and restaurants. You can try mini putt and other fun activities, but make sure to take a panoramic gondola ride to get a majestic view of the village.
There are plenty of good restaurant options within a few minutes drive from the B&B, and even a nice classy one right across the street (La Petite Cachée)! Among those, I would highly recommend Le Grill, in nearby St-Jovite and also Cayenne Grill (you must try the brie chutney appetizer!) For a more trendy bar/restaurant, head to Le Z in St-Jovite.
If you're into golf, there are 6-7 golf courses within a 10km radius. If you prefer tennis, you can rent a court at the marina to play with friends or take lessons. Both the new Casino de Mont-Tremblant and the famous Spa Scandinave are less than 10min away and offer a great place to relax, unwind and have fun. If you prefer getting professional massage services right in the comfort of your room, or outdoors, you can order this right at the bed & breakfast!
The marina (and small beach) at Lake Tremblant are 2min walk away, and one thing we enjoy is to bring a basket with food and have picnic right on the grass or on the picnic tables! They also offer boat cruises on lake Tremblant. Make sure to check out what events are happening while you're there (http://www.tremblant.ca/activities/events/). If you're more adventurous, you can try the helicopter tours offered by Héli-Tremblant.
Aside from this, the B&B itself offers an amazing view of the mountain in front of it, which can also be seen from most of the rooms. You have to go at least once in the fall to see the incredible symphony of colors on the different trees all around! A group of people can sit right outside and keep warm with the fire pit, or even head up a few steps and start a bonfire right in the beautiful back yard!
What more can I say? The place is simply outstanding and I would not go anywhere else while in Mont-Tremblant.
VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!
