We were looking for affordable, good location, walking distance to enjoying the city and a place a university student could afford if he/she needed a place to stay in town for a job interview or to go to a special event. All points covered. Reno's are apparently going on but we didn't notice - our room was spacious, SUPER comfy beds and FREE INTERNET (although you have to continually log in, don't have a 24-hour system which is a little annoying with huge access codes). Near the subway which is good as the parking lots is really tight, so you don't want to take your car in and out much or it could get scratched! Definitley for compact and small only. Don't recommend the restaurant, the breakfast buffet was limited, pastries were really stale, the hot food wasn't hot (burners too small). For $2 more you can go down the street to the Golden Griddle for a terrific buffet. BUT as far as sleeping/staying here - completely satisfied and would stay again.
