This was our sixth time visiting Zihua, but our first time staying here. After the 3 weeks we spent here; I'll never look for an alternative place to stay. Upon arrival, we immediately realized that everything about the place was even better than the pictures portray on the website. Our bungalow was huge and we loved overlooking the city. It can get noisy around the holidays, but you really get a feel for the city of Zihua. If you don't want to hear everything, you can close your bedroom windows and turn on the A/C to completely block it out.

It is the tallest building in Zihua, and it's on top of a small hill, so from the group area upstairs you can get a fantastic perspective of the city and bay.

The pool overlooking the bay was perfect and absolutely refreshing.

Staying here you are a five minute walk to downtown, a minute walk to the pool and in 3 minutes you can be at La Madera beach. If you don't want to walk everywhere, there is a taxi station at the bottom of the hill by the canal. The maids are very friendly and trustworthy and our bungalow was cleaned daily. Mark and his family were very kind and completely available for anything we needed. Everyone connected to the hotel was very friendly.

I can't wait to come back next year!!!

we loved bungalows madera, a home away from home, beautiful large room with kitchen and table and chairs and welcoming flowers. Safe, gates locked at lower and upper levels, just remember your code!! Private...our own little patio with table, chairs and washing rack! It is close enough to walk to town via scenic paseo de pescador. Lovely infinity pool and small gardens of flowering hibiscus and bourganvilla. Mark and Carmina are ready to help with any questions. We stayed in "girasol" and had a lovely view of madera bay...beds comfy, shower hot, kitchen equipment ample.....would love to be there right now as we go through grey winter days on the west coast of canada! Thank you for making our stay so comfortable....

We just wanted to let you know how great a stay we had at your Bungalows La Madera. Being so close to town AND to have the beach right there was perfect. So was the pool and the pool table on the roof. The living area deck was perfect too. The bed was super confortable and the shower was typically Mexican large with no shortage of hot water and good water pressure. All in all, pretty much ideal.

This was our 6th trip in 18 months. The new units with a city view are finished and it does not do them justice to use the wword beautiful, they are spactacular. I still prefer the view of the bay, that is my personal preference. I love to look out on the water. Always our favorite in Mexico.
