Just returned from 3+ weeks on first visit here. Would go back without hesitation. I was in Rm 2 in the new building (only 8 units) and for two nights in Rm 3. Big difference. Rm 2 had great view of the town and adjoining hills, beautiful at night as the lights came on, with lovely breezes. Rm 3 no view, though it faces the bay. There is a building that blocks that view and will feature in all the views facing the bay as it is as tall as BLM. It is a factor even in the view from the fabulous roof top palapa which features a grill, kitchen, bthrm, pool tble and lounge where folks gather for sunset.
BLM is on the top of the hill just above La Madera beach so it is not for people who have trouble with hills. For others it is well located between the town and the most popular beach, La Ropa, each walking distance. Buses and cabs are readily available.
Excellent restaurants just down the short hill-Rufo's, La Gula- plus several places for breakfast and simpler dining - Slavator's.
Excellent firm mattress and silent, effective AC. I found the noise from town pleasant, but closed my doors and windows for real quiet.
Very friendly, helpful management. Their photos are accurate.
