This resort is one of the best I have ever been to. Their 4* customer service is fantastic, especially Nick on reception who couldn't do enough for us. When we had a slight issue with our villa Nick dealt with it efficiently and effectively so we could get on and enjoy our holiday. The villa was spotless, spacious, had it's own plunge pool and an extremely well equipped kitchen (including baking tins in case you want to bake cakes!!). We were half board and there was plenty of choice from three restaurants plus two bars serving food. Plenty of free watersports to keep the kids amused....while they played we chilled and drank rum.....my idea of bliss. There were lots of families who own time share there and it's not hard to see why...the day we got back to England I wanted to get back on the plane and go back to St Lucia. Loved every minute of this wonderful resort and would not hesitate to recommend it as the perfect holiday destination.

Room tip: Villas are large and give families plenty of room to have their "own space", especially with teenagers.

We had our wedding at the Windjammer in March and it was simply wonderful. Melanie and Simone, wedding coordinators extraordinaire, took care of our every need. The only reason I give this a 4 instead of 5 rating is because the hotel was unwilling to negotiate a lower rate for wedding meals, and we ended up going elsewhere for the reception and rehearsal. But the wedding was wonderful, and all of the staff were delightful. Thank you!!!

I stayed at the Windjammer Landing for 6 nights, at the end of August.
the resort itself is beautiful, grounds are nicely kept, the basic rooms are very large and modern.
bathroom was great! huge walk in shower and jacuzzi tub.
the food was good at any of the a la cartes however the buffets were below par.
this resort offers an all inclusive option as well as a non all inclusive option, this makes for a bit of a hassle when you just want to get a drink and walk away. you can't you have to sign your name and room number after anything you get.
the rooms are on hills so if there is mobility issues ask to be close to the lobby, there are shuttles that will take you up and down, but sometimes a wait of 20 min is in order.

all in all this resort was beautiful and so much fun!
it is really good for families as that was the majority of clients there,
shows and activities daily but after hours there is not much nightlife if any at all..

Room tip: closest to the lobby possible so you don't have to hike!

I have never been to St. Lucia before and this resort exceeding my expectations. What a beautiful looking resort (especially if you can see it from the ocean). I just don't know how they built it on this mountain. The rooms are situated all up the mountain and you have to go uphill if you are walking to your room. There is a frequent shuttle that takes guests to their rooms, however I only used it when it rained.
We had an amazing 2-bedroom Villa, we lucked out & got upgraded or some reason, but another couple that we were with had a regular king-bedded room and it was just as nice, only not as big. I can't even describe how beautiful both of these rooms were....so much like you would expect at a 4 1/2 star resort in St. Lucia! Large, clean, excellent beds, shower to die-for and nice balcony with lounge chairs. This resort can be All-Inclusive or not. Do All-inclusive if you can. You will get a bill after each meal and/or drink you order, but they will not charge you...they only need to keep track. You would only have to tip if you wanted to. A lot of the guests are Time-share or owners, so they would not have the All-inclusive option. I met one lady who has been coming to this resort for 17 years!! She just loves it. All the staff is very friendly. The Food is the best I have ever had at any resort in all of the Caribbean. Not one single complaint. The drinks are good, not watered down at all. The beach is fantastic and one of the best things about this resort is the water sports. Oh my Goodness, they have everything from water-skiing to speed-boating to jetskiing. Just an amazing Water Sports Centre!! Best ever. You will NOT be disappointed if you stay here. St. Lucia is so beauitful and be sure to take a speed boat trip to the Piton Mountains!! Ask for Captain Tom at Exodus Boat Charters. They will know him at the Water Sports Centre. Wonderful trip!

Room tip: Rooms closets to Lobby/Reception since the resort is so big and all uphill
