“Picture Perfect!”

What a delightful place and hospitable hosts Alyce & Michael. We were a family of 4 travelling to Ireland during January 2010 and we were followed by the inclement weather conditions, snow, icey roads and sleet - but this did not deter us to make the journey to Castle Oliver Farm. When we arrived at Castle Oliver Farm we were greeted with a fire already burning inside the cottage. We thought this was a nice little touch!

Castle Oliver Farm was just as the photos actually- better! The property was set in such beautiful Irish countryside with rolling hills and valleys, gentle mists over the meadows and the stone cottages were so lovely, full of character and charm that we felt like we were experiencing another bygone era from yesteryear.

Thankyou Alyce and Michael for being such gracious hosts.

“Warm, Friendly and Welcoming”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 9 October 2009

Six members of my family and I spent 7 wonderful days on Castle Oliver Farm. We toured much of Eastern and Southern Ireland from this location. We could not have asked for a more wonderful stay or better hosts. Michael and Alyce saw to our every need. We felt as though we were staying with family. The first few days were a bit damp but the warm friendliness of our lodgings kept the weather from dampening our spirits.
We would surely come again and definately recommend this wonderful Farm to family and friends.

“The personal Touch”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 28 June 2009

What a gorgeous place to stay, firendly and welcoming and the open fire was wonderful on the cold nights.

It's a great place to stay whether as a base to tour or just to get away from it all. We stayed in the Mill house which was perfect for us.

We recommend it in a heart beat.

“Ideal Touring Base”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 23 August 2008

How truly delightful Castle Oliver Farm was, the Coach house was perfect for all of us. The accomodation was extremely clean and had a five star feel throughout. Countryside is breath taking and all the rooms were lovely and spacious. We really enjoyed the fire each night. The central location allows you to see much of the gorgeous countryside. What an amazingly tranquil and peaceful holiday.
Would highly recommend..
