Stratos Art deco House is situated in the picturesque and beautiful village of Kalavassos near the main square.The family run House is located only 5 km from the famous fishing village of Zygi and Governor's beach and is ideally located to visit all main cities of Cyprus(Limassol 20 km,Larnaca 28 km,Lefcosia 45 km). The 350 year's old stone built House consists of 4 uniquely decorated suites with authentic antique and modern designed furniture which are fully equiped with all necessary accessories of a self catering apartment suite. There is free wifi cd player and Satelite flat tv for all rooms. Guests can relax at our stone built jacuzzi in the romantic courtyard with the atmosphere of another epoque under the arches and the sun loungers by having a coffee from their Nespresso machine ...

So good - we came back with the family

We originally stayed at Stratos house with the wonderful Giorgio and Elena for 5 days, enjoying their fantastic home and hospitality before moving on to stay with family - but we loved it so much that we brought them all back with us for a night so they could see for themselves what we had experienced! Kalavasos is a gorgeous traditional village with friendly locals , daily menus around the square and a back in time feel to a place where family and friendship is valued above all else. The family suite at Stratos house is superbly well equipped for a self catered stay and extremely comfortable. the twin room is beautifully decorated and even my son was so impressed he raised no comment about the gorgeous pink theme! - They even provided children's themed beach towels for guest use. The main bedroom is spacious and comfortable, with pretty bedding and a four poster bed - making our stay feel romantic and special even with the children - something a great many places could learn from. The small but perfectly formed kitchen and bathroom, equipped with all you would need more than met our expectations and we feel we have managed to stumble upon something very very special that we are almost reluctant to share.........but feel it would be doing our fabulous hosts a disservice if we didn't , because while our original stay was a break for 2, our return trip with children and grandparents, showed that the magic works across the ages, with everyone looking forward to returning! Expand your horizons and if you want something different for your family than the usual hotel or apartment complex, a world away from increasingly similar holiday resorts you will be delighted by this real gem of a find!
