We stayed in the Claregalway Hotel for Valentine's Weekend and found the Hotel to be first class in every way - staff, food, service and accommodation. The staff could not do enough for us to see that our every need was taken care of. On returning home we discovered that a mobile 'phone charger was left behind. On contacting the Hotel, Regina said she would look after it and, true to her word, it arrived in the post two days later, We have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending this Hotel to anybody and we look forward to returning there ourselves soon. Stayed two nights,comfortable accomodation. Ate dinner and had breakfast, thought the food was poor at best, neither looked or tasted fresh. Would not eat here out of choice.

We stayed at the Claregalway Hotel earlier this year with my wife and 3 kids 8-10 years old. We had made sure we booked one of the "corner" rooms facing the road which was huge for an hotel room and easily accommodated the 5 of us. The room and bathroom were spotless as was the rest of the hotel except maybe the pool changing rooms but that isn't really the hotel's fault since it's really other guests that mess that up. The staff from the front desk to the restaurant, room cleaners and gym/pool were all very helpful and courteous. We had breakfast in the restaurant each morning which was great and had dinner there one night with a large group. The food and service was fantastic. Location was great for us for visiting family locally and going into Galway city. Free WiFi which was great for our laptop (unlike having to pay at our London hotel on the same trip). The only negative I would have is that it is fairly pricey. But compared to other "family" hotels in the Galway area, this was the best.

We will absolutely be staying here again when we return to Claregalway.

We went along as three couples taking advantage of the hotel's special offer of a 2 course dinner with an an overnight stay. We had a wonderful time at such a bargain price the staff couldn't have been nice, the room couldn't have been more comfortable tand the food was certainly well worth the visit.
