The hotel is located centrally in the heart of Alicante, close to the beach, restaurants, shops, tourist attractions and public transport including the airport shuttle.
The stuff is very helpful and friendly. The water and soft drinks in the minibar are free. The hotel is very clean, the rooms are air-conditioned.

There was a lot of noise all the time: traffic, construction, and people coming and going all night through... The breakfast was somewhat poor especially for those who have booked for a longer stay.

About 25 min taxi drive from airport. Cost about 18 euros. Apparently bus fare 5 euros per person from airport but very long queues, didnt want o wait. Behind a block of flats, fairly quiet. Not even 10 min walk to beach and main tram stop to visit other towns, Benidorm just under 2 hours away tram fare 5 euros return!! wonderful. Promenade and Esplanade not even 5 min away. No hot breakfast but a variety of fruit and cold meats. Hot drinks throughout the day and night in reception. Service good, very helpful reception staff especially girl called Mar. Linen changed everyday, not really necessary but probably hotel rules. Not complaining. Very central and very good value for money. Probably come here again. Thank you. Mrs J C Fernandes London

Just returned from a 3night break staying at the Hotel Gravina Cinco, was slightly nervous about this hotel as could not find any reviews anywhere but i have to say was pleasantly surprised by the hotel and there staff. The hotel is in a central location a couple of minutes walk from the beach(which was very clean) it is one of the Tryp Hotels and situated right next to one! We arrived at alicante airport and went to stop 30 and got the c6 bus which dropped us right near the beach so only 3mins away from our hotel, well worth the 1.20euros each rather than the 15-20euros a taxi would cost!

We arrived fairly early about 1030am and the hotel room was ready for us we asked for a double and got a double it was location on the 2nd floor and was a inside room. The View was not great but being a city/beach break we did not spend much time in our room! The room consisted of a double bed, a desk a 14inch tv which had 2 uk tv channels, a reasonably priced minibar.a safe, Wardrobe. The bathroom was a good size with hot water at all times. a powerful shower a bida and a large sink! The room was double glazed and was very quiet great for a good nights sleep! WLAN was in the room and WIFI was in the reception area.

We stayed bed and breakfast, the breakfast did not consist of much, coffee, juice, toast, jam, butter yogurt, croissants and a couple of cakes but it was plenty enough for us to start the day with.

The street the hotel was situated on was a quiet road, just a few mins walk away from the beach, there was supermarkets close bar and plenty of restaurants along the seafront. The center of Alicante was about 5-10min walk away with plenty of shops and some more restaurants. There is a great indian restaurant just around the corner from the hotel. Plenty to see and do in this area or within a short walk of the hotel.

The hotel staff were very friendly one day when it was pouring down with rain(yes it does rain in!) we were sat in reception waiting for it to die down when the receptionist gave us one of the hotels umbrellas! Another day we asked for advise on restaurants again extremely helpful gave us a map and circled and told us names of restaurants that are good and not in the tourist area! the manager came out to unlock our safe when we had forgotten the code. Great hotel with a personal welcoming feel would def stay here again.
