St Johann in Tirol Forum: Do the summer lifts take mountain bikes please?

You might be better off in Ellmau a few miles away where you take your bikes up on the cog railway.

In St johann the cable car will not let you take your bike. Kitz though you are able to do this. Hope this helps

Hi Vertical – the bikes are put on the back of the chair lifts by attendants, and the attendant at the top takes the bike off the back of the chair as you jump off in the usual way.

Hi 3rd tip – Thanks, I am aware of Kitzb, and apparently Mayrhofen has a lift too.

It is strange how hard it has been to find out about this. We used to go on holiday with Crystal Active and really miss them. We still have not found a holiday yet.
