I am thinking of booking a last minute Ingham's break to St. Johann, staying at a Summer House on either B & B or Half Board. Has anyone experienced this type of holiday before and are the summer houses okay. We usually stay in an hotel when we go to Austria, but this year we are restricted to a certain date and there are not many deals around from Scottish Airports. Hope someone can help.
No idea about these in St. Johann but some discussions previously about them in Mayrhofen where people say they were never unhappy with accomodations-
perhaps use the search box to find these discussions.
Most of the summer houses in and around St.Johann are a very good choice - Clean, well equiped and friendly landlords. Do you know the name of your summer house? If so, tell me, if I know it, I am happy to give you my opinion on it.

Hi. Am thinking of booking Inghams deal in St Johann summer house. If I don't go for the HB option because I like variety and not being tied to a specific time, are there enough places in the town to eat out otherwise. Thanks for your advice.

Yes plenty places to eat dinner in St Johann at fair prices.If you book the well-priced HB option with Inghams it won't be so much tied to time as tied to restaurant venue.If this was an isolated resort and not as close as it is to fashionable, trendy Kitzbuhel, prices would be much higher.The transport connections are great. I think St Johann i T although without cachet is great value for money.Not many good hotels so the Summer Houses are a good option IMO.
