We are staying in Ireland for 2 weeks and I have been trying to figure out ways to avoid too much driving. It seems that if you stay in one place and use a hub and spoke approach you do as much as if you move every day.
I've planned to make three 2-day stops. Otherwise, we drive every day. Most of our drives are 75 miles, or less; but, I'm worried about the 2 that are 133 and 125. Does this plan sound reasonable? I read that the average speed is 30 m.p.h. and took that very seriously, as we prefer the back roads.
Happy to provide itinerary, if interested. Didn't want to engage in information overload!
