Cobh forum We will be travelling to Ireland this summer on a family tour, staying over in Cork or Cobh. Since we only have one night and a morning to choose between these places, I just wondered which one others enjoyed more, Cork City or Cobh and what are the main places of interest there? Would it be possible to stay in Cork and see Cobh in the morning? Trying to decide!

Yes it would be possible to stay in Cork and see Cobh. I like Cobh a lot but it hasn't as much to offer as the city for an overnight.
Thank you tony2phones, you've helped me make a decision. The Rory Gallagher information is great, since my son really wanted to follow his story when we visit Ireland.
