Take a look at www.adarevillage.com
Adare is a beautiful village. Ideal for a trip to Limerick (15 minutes away from the city) and Killarney (about 90 minutes or so away) and Cork (another 90 minutes or so) but not IMHO Dingle.
Lots to do in the area including horse riding at Clonshire, Golf in the many golf clubs in the area, visiting Killaloe (my machine is slow at the moment so I can't put up a link) and Birr Castle and Demesne and Bunratty Castle, Knappogue, Craggaunowen, Foynes Flying Boat and Irish Coffee Museum etc.
Also lots of lovely walks in the area including the Ballyhoura Mountains.
Also the Palatine Museum in Rathkeale.
The cottage looks lovely. There is one for rent smack in Adare village that is worth a look too http://www.adarecottages.ie/ You could walk everywhere from there.
This is a fabulous cosy cottage ideally located to visit
all the beauty spots of of county Clare , Kerry , Cork and Tipperary.
Visits to Galway would also be possible.
Dingle is a 2.5 hr drive from Adare
