“ Kenmare Beer ”

Hi there,

I'm staying in Kenmare the week after next and I was wondering are the pubs there still serving Kenmare Beer? Also where can I get a good pint of Beamish, or any beers out of the ordinary. I'll be going for quality and not quantity, as I'll be there with my family.

There's one pub that had Kenmare beer on tap. I don't recall the name of the place but it's across from the Spanish restaurant. There's about 3 or 4 pubs on that side.

Hi LK67, P F McCarthys is the bar you want they have kenmare beer and a few other unusual ones as well. I dont think you will find Beamish any where in Kenmare.

Just back from Kenmare and they have the Kenmare beer in "The Bold Thady Quill" bar. Its past of the Lansdowne Arms hotel. Enjoy.

Thanks for that. Will check it out tomorrow as soon as I'm let off my leash.

I've ruined myself by travelling to Belgium, Germany and Italy on beer appreciation trips and now find that mainstream beers don't taste of much. Cork is a great place for beer variety too of course.
