“ Can I buy swisspass at the Lugano train station? ”

Do they sell the swisspass at the ticket counter at the Lugano train station? Is it advisable to get it there (will it "run out of stock") rather than through the website?

Yes you should be able to do.

It will not' run out of stock' the tickets are printed by the ticket clerk from their computer.

Unless the train station runs out of blank ticket paper or printer ink, they cannot "run out of stock" with Swiss Passes.

You can buy them wherever it is more convenient for you.
