1)For this area: Sun and a few clouds on Sathurday and Sunday, rain on Monday and Tuesday. Best to plan a mountain trip on Sunday. But I would check them again when you are there. A good English language website is www.meteoschweiz.admin.ch/web/en/weather.html
2)Most interesting thing is North of the Alps: Swiss Carneval

Carnival, except for Basel's, is over. Finished on Tuesday this week.
Check out the Tourist office website, it will show exactly what is happening... Mube gave you the link.
