San Sebastian - Donostia Forum: Concert venue question

Thanks for that, the name of the band is The Wedding Present.

Any info would be much appreciated.

They are playing the concert at Oñati, in a very nice village in the country side. San Sebastian is about 60-80 kms from there and will be really busy this weekend as told before. I suggest you to find a place around Oñati.

At same area (same village but some kms away is Arantzazu monastery (now has a lovely new hotel, I don´t think it will be expensive staying there). Nearby villages Bergara, Mondragon, Eibar.

Onati is a great mountain village. We spent the night in town a couple of years ago and loved it. The people in the tourist office were very friendly and give free walking tours of the city.

There isn't much accomodation in the town itself. We stayed at the Hotel Ongi - nothing spectacular but a simple 1* with basic but clean rooms. Outside of Onati there are some nice rural accomodations but this is about it within the city.
