“ Weekend on ocean wo car ”

Will be in Londonderry and have free weekend. Wondering if any recommendations re town on ocean easily accessible by public transit.

Public transport from Derry to the coastal areas of Donegal is limited. However, check out Foyle Coaches who run services into the Inishowen Peninsula at www.foylecoaches.com. Culdaff and Malin are pretty villages near the ocean.

You could also try the Lough Swilly Bus which also serves destinations in Inishowen including Greencastle and Buncrana - both seaside towns. See www.loughswillybusco.com

The most frequent service seems to be to Buncrana. I won't have car and wondering if any accommodation recommendations.
