we were in zihua a few years back in august - loved the mix of mexican and north american families on the beach (la ropa) as we are a blended family. but it was too humid! what's it like at xmas time, are there more crowds? is it all north american tourists?
Much more crowded and expensive over Christmas holidays. Many, many Mexican nationals in Zih at that time of year celebrating the holidays and enjoying life. My favorite time to come is the week of Thanksgiving or the week right before or right after. Rainy season is over and everything is green, green, green. Just gorgeous. Plus, rates will be lower than at Christmas holidays. Very quiet and relaxed on LaRopa at this time of year. My other favorite time to visit is late Feb and early March. Seems less humid then,
