  "The Last Shift Inn is the only pub in Braehead and provides meals on Friday - Sunday night. We ate on a Friday night and there was a steady flow of patrons coming into the restuarant. It is run by a very friendly husband and wife team. The menu consists of normal pub grub but there is a good range..." including several vegetarian options. We both had a starter, my camembert was quite good but unfortunately an error was made with my husbands choice and he had to wait for his, garlic bread which was quite basic. I had scampi, salad and chips which was tasty although a bit too much batter on the scampi for me. Husband had a trio of salmon and prawns which was very tasty. Both meals were of a good proportion and so we didn't need dessert. Service was good though out the evening and the bill reasonable. It is a typical old inn with beams and plenty of character.   "Mmmmm really lovely evening. How lucky are the people of Lanark to have a real class quality eating house. The choices on the menu suit all palates. Staff are so helpful and yes the Chef does come out and asks if all is good. Looking forward to returning"
