  "One of my favorites. I live about thirty minutes away but it's worth the drive. Great food, good service, clean and relaxing. Outdoor patio on a nice evening is beautiful. Not just the same menu as a lot of Santa Fe Mexican restaurants that cover everything in green or red chili."

  "The Compound Restaurant is very popular - reservations are suggested, particularly for dinner. The service was very good - the staff is friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. It's a comfortable, relaxed atmosphere with indoor and outdoor seating. We had 3 fish entrees (all good to very good - sof..."t shell crab, scallops, and I don't remember the other) and one chicken schnitzel. The schnitzel was very good, however, it was cooked in a great deal of butter. The french fries are very good - thin shoe-string fries, perfectly salted. The prices are fair, although some think it's a bit pricey. On the whole, the food was good, not great....but the service and the "feel" of the restaurant made our visit very pleasing. " More >
