"Being settled near the old harbour the place is rather quiet and somwehat away from the traffic and the crowd that patrol the rest of the village. There is a patio to eat outside and a more recently built terrace overlooking the harbour. "It was a lovely day in April and we were exploring NE Sardinia and visited Stintino. As we were walking in the harbour area around lunchtime we noticed one bar/restaurant busier than most of the others - so in we went. Simple tables, a family ambience and a pleasant welcome all contrived to get us o..."ff to a good start. The food is simple but beautifully cooked. We steered away from the seemingly legendary pizzas and Maggie started with a bruschetta (in fact four!) topped with wonderful tomatoes that you wish you could eat every day, followed by a beautifully fresh shrimp salad with rocket; whilst I started with an excellent shrimp and zucchini pasta followed by a breadcrumbed veal escalope with grilled vegetables. A pleasant lunch in a pleasant place with splendid views of the harbour - well worth a visit.
