  "While better known for its beer and brandy, Wisconsin continues to grow a wine culture. Part of that culture is the wine bar and good selection of carryout wines. We were part of a small party celebrating my 70th birthday in the Bottle Room party room. The food supplied from their menu was very good..." and the service was excellent. Most of the party selected wine flights from a list of about 12 different flights cover everyone’s tastes. There were dry reds and dry whites in addition to the sweeter reds and whites available. Each flight consisted of 4 different wines in Riedel glasses carried out in special metal holder. A colorful queue card identified the different wine along with full tasting description of each wine. Some of the guests were more prone towards the tradition Wisconsin beverage, beer; and made their selection from several available flights of beer.   "Visited Old Chicago for the first time this past weekend and had a wonderful experience. My friend and I shared a large margherita pizza. Probably the best margherita pizza I've ever had. Service was fantastic. Will definitely return."
